What you’ve got to love most about this video is that despite the terrifying incident that occurs, just about everyone walks away from it laughing. I’m sure the crane operator and the owner of that excavator weren’t smiling much, but if you can walk away from many tons of heavy iron raining from the sky and crashing down just feet away from crushing you, you’ve got a pretty good outlook on things. According to the video’s details on Live Leak, the accident occurred in Santiago, Chile, and in the video below, we see the crane malfunction from both the top and bottom of the pit as filmed by workers on their phones.
